Ian Kennedy has aneurysm

I wasn't around a computer to run this story before, but Ian Kennedy has been diagnosed with an aneurysm. The situation is similar to that of David Cone back in 1996. Here's an article about the situation Cone dealt with from the New York Times.

Clearly, this is a scary situation. He was thought to have vaspospasms, which is why he originally lost feeling in his fingers on his pitching hand. When the doctors scoped his shoulder and ran some tests, they must have missed the aneurysm. Kennedy will go under the knife to remove this, and I'd say his recovery will keep him out until September. There's no reason to think this will negatively affect Kennedy - Cone finished in the top six for Cy Young in 1998 and 1999 after the surgery. My thoughts go out to Kennedy and his family.
